Since the outbreak of the new coronavirus disease pandemic COVID-19, an impact throughout the economy was inevitable that made social media and e-commerce shops important sales channels for the e-commerce companies. Both channels have witnessed higher growth since the COVID-19 crisis. Pandemic COVID-19 has been associated with a change in sales composition. Besides, more customers have gone online to look for groceries, essential products, health and hygiene products and food delivery are the sales categories which are the largest increases in the COVID-19 crisis through online marketplaces.
Due to this situation, social media plays an important role too. Businesses will gain profits from social media platforms such as Facebook where mostly they will use this platform to attract the customers using few marketing strategies. Facebook also has provided some features for businesses to market and optimize their Facebook business pages. For our project, we have strengthened our business by doing marketing on Facebook. So, there are a few Facebook marketing strategies that we use to boost our sales and manage our business.
Call To Action button (CTA)
One of our marketing strategies is to use the Call To Action button feature on our Facebook page. The call-to-action button is located at the top of our Facebook page and is linked to our WhatsApp number for our customers to directly contact us. The CTA button acts as a guide and helps customers to know the next step to place an order after browsing through the Facebook page. Having a clear CTA will likely avoid potential customers to leave the page without buying any product.
Target audience
Second marketing strategy is to know who our target audience is and understand what to target in marketing. For instance our social media, Facebook has targeted the audience segmented from students, catering and people who love dadih. By using data on Facebook, we can target potential consumers that share the same interest and are even located near our business. Not only that, by using Facebook our business will communicate with customers and record customer feedback after consummate business with them. This step is to fix and improve which and what our target audience wants and needs for the future. Besides, in marketing strategies also our business can create new audiences or custom audiences by providing the features that are interesting.
Produce attractive product contents
Posting attractive product contents on the facebook page is also one of the marketing strategies that can enhance and improve the business. Every content will be designed primarily to attract our audience to our business no matter their age, interest or search. The power of valuable content is important to boost the profit from the target audience. Furthermore, we create a versatile logo and cover photo with bold colours for our business to appeal to the customers. Contents of our products are also pictures that are professionally taken to capture and show the mouth-watering, appetizing and creaminess of our product and thus attracting more customers to buy and try our product.
